I'm almost finished work on two, yes Muselings, TWO new cds one of which I'll release this summer, the other at the end of the year. Here's a teaser - it's a song I wrote to address the need for an ALS song that was neither uplifting nor encouraging. Someone had to do it. I think Edith took the photo.

ReplyDeleteUtterly beautiful. Or unutterably so. What can I say? You are out there far ahead, sending back dispatches from the edge. Not all that far, as each day I'm that much closer to catching up. You make the way so much more bearable, bearing so much, baring so much. I recently wrote, about a survivor of the Jewish Resistance in Budapest: I think we all are given a spark of courage. Some, though, are able to let the winds of experience fan it into a blazing, towering flame, a pillar of fire, a beacon. That's you, Carla. If I kept writing forever I could not find the words to properly thank you for what you are giving us.
